Our process

Step 1: Your Mold Inspection

Mold can be a serious issue for home and business owners in Greater Charleston. The mold inspection process begins with a very detailed visual inspection of your home or commercial property. We use advanced thermal technology to identify the source of the mold problem. We will conduct air and/or surface testing depending on the customer’s problem situation and photos will be taken of the contaminated area(s).

Step 2: 3rd Party Analysis

After our mold inspection is complete, we will send the air & surface samples to a trusted third party laboratory for a complete analysis to determine if you have any issues. The results are normally received within 24 to 48 hours. We will then provide our customers with a very detailed mold inspection report including photos, along with the complete analysis report from the third party laboratory. These reports are great information when buying a home or also testing your commercial property to keep it mold-free.

Step 3: Mold Remediation Plan

We will provide a comprehensive mold remediation plan to eliminate any mold problems found during the inspection and prevent its return. Our proven process incorporated with our Restored Air technology produces permanent results that are environmentally friendly. Our process for mold remediation destroys air & surface contaminates including pathogens, mold spores, bacteria and viruses.

Restored Air’s Surface Secure antimicrobial is applied to the treatment areas, creating a barrier that inhibits mold growth for a period of up to one year after treatment.

Step 4: Follow Up Testing

After the Restored Air process is complete and the mold problem has been remedied, we offer our customers optional independent post treatment testing after the completion of the project. Our follow-up testing will ensure that all contaminants have been eradicated from your property.
